Mathematics: A Poetry of Universe

Did you ever question yourself — why 1+1 = 2 — is always true? I am sure — No, right? Even I didn’t.

We were told from kindergarten that it happens and we accepted it. But, it takes 12 years of life to ask this question to yourself when you decide to go and see what higher mathematics looks like? This is where we see its beauty, this is where we hear its poetry around all over the universe.

I narrated my experience as being a student of mathematics — what this subject taught me and what I’ve felt about it. Although, it doesn’t always make you smile. But, yes it always makes you proud.

• It teaches you to prove not to convince.
• Every problem has a solution. But some problems have exact solutions and other has approximate ones.
